TouchOSC | Getting Started

In this quick-start tutorial we’ll go over the basic interface of the application and set up TouchOSC to talk to Pure Data and vice versa. I strongly recommend you follow this tutorial if you are new to TouchOSC, Open Sound Control or networking in general to get a better understanding of what is going on when TouchOSC sends and receives messages.

This is also a good test to see if your network is set up correctly for TouchOSC to work before you move on to more advanced endeavors. If you run into any problems with what you are trying to achieve with TouchOSC, please follow this tutorial and note at what point something goes wrong when you report the problem.
